Emily Ball

is a publicity assistant at Fortier Public Relations. Before joining the team full-time, she was an intern at our book PR agency and a previous one.  She graduated from the Liberal Arts Honors Program at Providence College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing. She loves reading and working with business and nonfiction authors in promoting their books as well as the messages and experiences that make them interesting. In her free time, she loves running, the beach and playing with her French Bulldog, Daisy.

Ashtin Ballard

is a publicity assistant at Fortier Public Relations. Prior to joining Fortier, she was the Agency Assistant at the Stuart Krichevsky Literary Agency, where she worked closely with authors on all aspects of their books from start to finish. She also interned at Writers House, where she assisted agents Geri Thoma and Andrea Morrison. She graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She is particularly excited about the intersection of publicity and author advocacy and her goal is to bring this enthusiasm to each campaign she works on. In her spare time, she loves to knit, bake, meander through Central Park, and hang out with her cat, Meredith.
